Went to the bee yard this afternoon to top off the syrup. Given that Sunday, the Buckfast hive had completely consumed all of the syrup, I made two gallons of 1:1, in anticipation of needing to fill both feeders.
when I arrived, I was happy to see activity around the entrances of both hives. I think I was observing orientation behavior.
I opted not to open the hives, will do so on my next visit and will check the status of the queens at that time
